The voyage from Corfu to Paxos is one of the most breathtaking sea journeys in the Mediterranean. Aboard a private luxury boat with Ionian Luxury Cruises, you will experience this iconic route in complete privacy and comfort — no crowds, no fixed schedules, just you and the turquoise Ionian Sea.
Why Go Private
Public ferries and group tours to Paxos are crowded, rushed, and follow rigid timetables. A private cruise gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace. Swim in hidden coves that tour boats skip. Arrive at Gaios before the crowds. Spend an extra hour at Voutoumi Beach. Your captain knows the secret spots that make this journey extraordinary.
The Journey
Departing from D-Marin Gouvia Marina, you cruise south through the Ionian Sea. The voyage takes approximately 1.5 hours. Along the way, your captain navigates the spectacular west coast of Paxos — the famous Blue Caves with their ethereal turquoise glow.

The Route — Corfu to Paxos & Antipaxos
The classic full-day cruise (about 8 hours, from €1,200 total per vessel) departs D-Marin Gouvia Marina and heads south along Corfu’s coastline toward Paxos, the small island famous for its west-coast sea caves and the harbour villages of Gaios, Lakka and Loggos. From Paxos it is a short hop to Antipaxos, whose beaches — Voutoumi and Vrika — are known for some of the clearest turquoise water in the Ionian.
Morning — the crossing
Depart Gouvia and cruise south past Corfu Town. Your captain reads the sea and picks the smoothest line for the day.
Midday — caves & Gaios
Glide along Paxos’ west coast sea caves and cliffs, then stop in Gaios or Lakka for a stroll or a waterfront taverna lunch (own expense, time permitting).
Afternoon — Antipaxos
Anchor off Voutoumi or Vrika for the swim of the day. Snorkeling gear, fresh towels, water and soft drinks are on board.
Evening — return
Cruise back to Gouvia at your pace. Want more? The extended 9-hour Paxos, Antipaxos & Sivota itinerary (from €1,400) adds the Mourtos islands.

Paxos Cruise Questions, Answered
How long is the trip and what does it cost?
The Paxos & Antipaxos private cruise lasts about 8 hours and starts from €1,200 — that is the total for the whole vessel with captain, fuel, snorkeling gear and refreshments included, not a per-person rate.
Can we visit the Paxos caves and swim at Voutoumi in one day?
Yes — that is exactly what the route is designed for. Because the charter is private, you decide how long to linger at each stop and the captain plans around sea conditions.
What should we bring?
Swimwear, sunscreen and a hat. Snorkeling gear, fresh towels, water and soft drinks are already on board. Champagne and gourmet platters can be arranged on request on premium vessels.
What if the weather turns?
Weather-related cancellations are fully refundable, even within the standard 14-day window. Your captain monitors conditions and will propose an alternative route or date.
