When the Sea Is Your Road: VIP Transfers and Seamless Days in Corfu

There is a version of a Corfu holiday where the boat is not an excursion but the connective tissue — where you arrive at your villa by water instead of by hire car, reach dinner across the bay instead of around it, and treat the island’s geography as a convenience rather than an obstacle. This is how the VIP side of what we do works: transfers, seamless days, and the quiet logistics that make a luxury week actually feel like one.

Arrival, done differently

The standard Corfu arrival is forty minutes of arrivals hall and coastal road. The alternative: a short hop from the airport to D-Marin Gouvia, then aboard — luggage stowed, something cold opened — and a cruise up the coast to the bay below your villa or hotel. The northeast coast in particular, from Dassia to Kassiopi, is dotted with properties whose best entrance was always the sea: stone steps to a private jetty, a beach below the garden. If your accommodation touches the water, ask us about arriving the way the house was designed for. The first impression of the holiday changes completely.

The seamless day, assembled

Beyond transfers, the VIP format is really about removing seams from a day. A practical example from a typical brief: pickup from a Nissaki-area villa mid-morning, a private swim itinerary along the coast the family has not yet seen, a reserved waterfront table at Agni for lunch, an afternoon at anchor with the toys out, and drop-off at the jetty before evening — no marina runs, no parking, no schedule but yours. The VIP boat tour page outlines the format; the reality is shaped per booking, because no two briefs match.

Dinner across the water

The under-used trick of a boat-supported week: evening crossings. Dinner in Corfu Town from a northeast villa is a long taxi or a short, beautiful cruise past the fortress at dusk. Agni’s tavernas, famously, keep jetties precisely for guests arriving this way. Pair an evening transfer with our sunset cruise and the commute becomes the cocktail hour — the kind of logistics that photograph better than most destinations.

The boats behind the service

Transfers and bespoke days draw on the same six-vessel fleet as our charters. The Vipers handle quick, stylish point-to-points; the Sea Ray and the Fairline Targa 43 turn a transfer into an event, with the deck space and presence that certain arrivals call for. Every movement is crewed, fuelled and weather-checked like any charter — the standards in our 2026 cost guide apply throughout, with bespoke movements quoted individually around distance and timing.

Who uses this, honestly

Three groups, mostly. Villa parties on the water’s edge, for whom the sea is the obvious road. Celebration organisers — weddings and milestone events — moving guests memorably between points. And returning charter guests who realised mid-holiday that the boat was the best part and asked what else it could do. The answer, within reason and the weather, is: most things. The brief is the starting point; send us yours and we will tell you honestly what works.

Frequently asked questions

Can you collect us directly from our villa or hotel?

If it has usable water access — a jetty, a beach landing, a bay we can anchor close to — usually yes. Send the location when you enquire and we will confirm feasibility honestly; some coastlines say no for us.

How is a transfer priced?

Individually, by distance, vessel and timing — a short coastal hop and a cross-island evening run are different propositions. Quotes are all-inclusive and come within 24 hours.

Can transfers carry luggage for an arrival day?

Yes — the cruisers and yachts swallow a family’s luggage easily. Tell us the headcount and bag count and we will match the boat.

Is this only for villa guests?

Not at all — hotel guests use evening dinner runs constantly, and event planners book point-to-point movements for groups. If the idea involves moving people beautifully over water, it is probably in scope.
